Götaplatsens Foto

Götaplatsens Foto is a small, well-established camera store in central Gothenburg best known for their expertise and in-depth knowledge. As part of a recent expansion, Götaplatsens Foto wanted to move towards e-Commerce, starting to sell products online as well.

We were brought in to fully create their e-Commerce section from scratch: Building strategies and constructing the website. A requirement from the start was that the site should be easily maintained by their staff and not require too much web knowledge to update.

The finished website features a beautiful design which places much emphasis on the wide range of products that this camera store has in stock, or can have in stock in a very short time frame. Behind the scenes, the website is powered by the competent Magento platform, allowing for easy extensibility and a powerful and solid foundation.

In the first month of operation, the website immediately became a hit, generating upwards of $70k USD of direct website sales, figures that are continuously growing. In addition to direct sales, the new website has affected store volume in a positive way.
