Launching a New Site for the Photoshop Hall of Fame

Earlier this year, Scott Kelby came to me and asked if we wouldn’t be interested in helping him re-design and re-launch the Photoshop Hall of Fame website which had been left alone for a few years. Needless to say, I accepted and over the past couple of months we have been working closely with the teams at NAPP to create this new website and we are very happy to finally be able to share the new site with everybody.

The site itself is coded using as many of the latest CSS3 and HTML5 techniques as was viable while still keeping a good browser support. As the site features the best of the best, we felt that having some fancy features were a good thing as long as there were no major drawbacks.

Behind the scenes, the site is powered by WordPress which offers a lot of flexibility and is also a platform that is widely used within Kelby Media Group. The main part of the site is the inductees section which has to be able to accommodate for any number of inductees per year.

We are most excited about launching the site and want to give a shout out first to Scott for letting us work on this and then to the team at NAPP that we’ve been working with. It’s been a very fun project and we are very pleased with the results.
